Alexandria Brown: Leapfrog, Don’t Ladder Climb!

I’m a member of Ali’s own Mastermind Coaching group. This video encapsulates everything I’ve done in the last 6 months to grow my business.

I just decided that this was what I wanted, I did it, and now here I am.

No, it wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t as hard as I imagined, either.

You can be as successful as you want to be as soon as you let go of negative crap that other people like to shove your way.

get beyond it, rise above it.

My mom was a HUGE naysayer in everything in life. I wanted to be a rock star – she told me to get a music degree, “just in case”.

You remember those fall back plans, don’t you.
Funny how you end up spending most of your life “falling back” instead of moving forward.

So I got a music degree… in Music Theory/History, and a Minor in Vocal Performance.
And took as many business and law courses as I could. Combined with everything I was learning about writing music, I was set to become a great composer.

And I now have 2 full length album credits to my name. I toured locally, and even did a few cross country stops.

Then I decided it was more fun to write for myself and perform on my own schedule.

But I did it. And I could do it again if I chose to.

And so can you.

Where do you want to be? Make the decision to fully commit to it. Ignoring the voices (large and small, inside your head and outside your head). Decide to do it and get started with it.

My current goal is to be the first Senior Executive Director with my direct sales company. Not only would it mean a heck of a lot of cash in my pocket, it would also mean passing my own leader and HER leader as well. That woman is currently the only Executive director in the company, with an annual income of approximatley $400,000.

I decided that I’m going to beat her to it.

And I can do it – I just crunched the numbers.
So now, I have to get to it.

What about you?
